Defining Direction

The human quest for holiness is an ongoing journey. Holiness, the absence of sin, is a lofty goal. However, our fallen nature predisposes us to sin. Spirituality, the conscious effort through religion and the Word to move, serves as a guiding light, helping us stay on the path to holiness—the process of sanctification.

What accounts for the human will choosing evil? As a suffix, -ism signifies a specific belief. In this context, Humanism refers to the belief in humanity’s capacity to transcend its inherent inclination towards darkness and engage in acts of kindness, goodness, mercy, forgiveness, and love, all of which encapsulate human spirituality.

This website explores the relationship between humans and God, examining: behaviors, experiences, history, His Word, and living as God’s image as His creation, inside His creation. Social justice conjoins the sacred to the human being. Theology and Anthropology are one subject in holy humanism.
